Question: How do freelance translation fees differ from other types of fees?
Answer: Freelance translators often change their fees based on their level of experience, language pair, or area of specialization. Typically freelance translators charge less than agencies as they have less overhead and only have themselves to pay, but this is not always the case. Many times very well experienced translators get tired of sharing their fees with an agency and go out on their own to get their own clients and translation projects at very high well paying rates.
